About the Opportunity

As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in expanding our corporate client base by identifying, engaging, and nurturing enterprise-level leads within the agri-food sector. You will actively research, generate leads, and build relationships to promote our intelligence and platform servicesโ€”with a primary focus on Tridgeโ€™s Marketbrief. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment, with unlimited growth potential.

What Youโ€™ll Be Doing

โœ… Lead Generation & Sales Engagement

  • Proactively identify and engage potential enterprise customers through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads, ensuring a seamless handover to the sales team.
  • Analyze industry trends and key pain points in the agri-food sector to craft targeted sales messages.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our SaaS-based intelligence solutions to communicate their value effectively.

โœ… Collaboration & Data Management

  • Work with marketing and sales teams to develop targeted campaigns and optimize lead conversion.
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Provide regular market insights to help refine sales strategies and outreach efforts.

โœ… Relationship Building & Client Engagement

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and competitors in the agri-food market.

What You Need to Succeed

๐Ÿ“Œ Experience & Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or lead generation, preferably in SaaS, tech sales, or intelligence sales.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in B2B prospecting, with a proven track record of identifying and converting leads.
  • Familiarity with the agri-food industry, enterprise sales cycles, or data-driven decision-making is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of CRM systems and sales tools.
  • Fluent in Akan and/or any other indigenous Ghanaian language, with advanced English proficiency.
