πΌ About the Role
As a Business Development Representative at Tridge, youβll be building strong relationships with potential corporate clients in the agri-food sector. Your focus will be on sales engagement, lead generation, and market research to promote Tridge’s Marketbrief intelligence platform and services.
What Youβll Be Doing

Research & Engage β Identify and reach out to enterprise clients through cold calls, emails, and social media in the agri-food market.

Market Analysis β Study industry trends, pain points, and intelligence needs within the sector.
β
Lead Qualification β Qualify inbound & outbound leads for seamless handover to the sales team.
β
Tailored Messaging β Craft compelling value propositions to demonstrate the power of our SaaS solutions.
β
Collaboration β Work closely with marketing & sales teams to create targeted campaigns and optimize conversions.
β
CRM Management β Maintain accurate records of all activities and prospects using tools like Salesforce or HubSpot.
π― What You Need to Succeed
πΉ 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation, preferably in SaaS, tech, or intelligence sales.
πΉ Strong communication skills β Fluent in Akan (or other indigenous languages), with advanced English skills (both verbal and written).
πΉ Industry Knowledge β Familiarity with the agri-food sector or data-driven decision-making tools is a plus.
πΉ Tech-Savvy β Comfortable learning and explaining SaaS solutions and using CRM systems.
πΉ Bachelorβs degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred.
πΉ Self-Starter Mentality β Strong desire to connect with others and grow your sales career.

- Experience in SaaS or platform sales is a plus.
- B2B phone and email prospecting experience (especially at the corporate level) is highly valued.
