Role Overview
As Chief Field Officer, you will oversee UNICEF’s presence, staff, and assets in your area of responsibility. You will lead program development, implementation, and evaluation while advocating for children’s rights, building partnerships, and ensuring sustainable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and represent UNICEF in the region.
- Oversee program development, implementation, and reporting.
- Monitor program efficiency and ensure optimal use of resources.
- Build partnerships with local and national stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and capacity-building initiatives.
- Advocate for children’s rights and promote UNICEF’s goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Advanced degree in social sciences, public administration, international relations, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 8 years in program management, planning, or monitoring.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Developing country experience and familiarity with emergency contexts are desirable.
