Job Summary
The Senior Specialist – Tax & Transfer Pricing is responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax compliance, planning, and transfer pricing strategies within the organization. The role ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, optimizes tax efficiency, and mitigates risks associated with tax and transfer pricing matters.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and filing of all tax returns, including corporate income tax, value-added tax (VAT), and other applicable taxes.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of tax compliance activities, including tax calculations and provisions.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, providing recommendations on their impact.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize tax efficiency.
- Maintain transfer pricing policies and documentation in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct transfer pricing analyses to determine arm’s length pricing for intercompany transactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement transfer pricing strategies that align with business objectives.
- Manage tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities, including preparing documentation and representing the organization.
- Work with external advisors and legal counsel to resolve tax disputes efficiently.
- Provide tax advisory support on transaction structuring, employee compensation, and international tax matters.
- Stay updated on emerging tax trends and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Chartered Accountant certification (ICAG, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW) is mandatory.
- Membership with the Chartered Institute of Taxation – Ghana is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of tax experience, preferably in the Fintech Industry or within a medium to large organization, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
