Job Details

  • Reports to: Executive Director
  • Location: Dikan Center, Accra, Ghana
  • Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership and Management

  • Ensure efficient daily operations and strategic goal alignment.
  • Develop and refine operational policies for organizational excellence.
  • Collaborate with departments to enhance processes and implement project management tools.

Resource Management

  • Oversee procurement and resource allocation for cost efficiency.
  • Manage facilities to ensure a secure and well-maintained workspace.
  • Administer operational budgets with financial accountability.

Team Management and Development

  • Build and motivate a high-performing operations team.
  • Deliver training programs to enhance team competencies.
  • Supervise key personnel across various roles.

Strategic Planning and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Assist in developing and executing organizational strategies.
  • Represent Dikan at conferences and public events.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and suppliers.

Financial Oversight and Reporting

  • Collaborate with finance teams for budget management and grant applications.
  • Ensure accurate financial operations, including payroll.
  • Deliver comprehensive monthly operational reports to the Executive Director.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: 9+ years in operations management, preferably in a non-profit or educational environment.
  • Skills: Leadership, budget management, communication, and advanced proficiency in MS Office and Asana.
