Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Engineer – Tech Lead to play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying data-driven dashboards and reporting solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and IT professionals to enhance decision-making through visually compelling and efficient Power BI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Design & Development – Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
✔ Data Modeling – Optimize DAX calculations, Power Query, and create robust data models for efficient reporting.
✔ ETL Processes – Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple sources into Power BI.
✔ Performance Optimization – Enhance report performance through efficient queries, data modeling, and visualization techniques.
✔ Collaboration – Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and refine BI solutions accordingly.
✔ Data Integration – Integrate multiple data sources such as SQL, Azure, SharePoint, and third-party APIs.
✔ Documentation & Training – Maintain comprehensive documentation and conduct training sessions for Power BI users.
✔ Troubleshooting – Resolve data accuracy, performance, and dashboard visualization issues.
Required Qualifications
🔹 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
🔹 5+ years of experience in Power BI report/dashboard development.
🔹 Strong DAX, Power Query, and data modeling skills.
🔹 Experience with SQL and relational databases for data extraction and transformation.
🔹 Ability to translate complex business needs into user-friendly reports and dashboards.
🔹 Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
🔹 Strong communication skills to articulate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
✅ Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik.
✅ Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, ETL tools, and data warehousing best practices.
✅ Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
